Khem Raj 6e8b34a46a monkey: Keep /var/volatile empty 
/var/volatile is populated at runtime as it can be mounted from a
different partition, therefore its better to keep it empty and only
populate it during runtime.

Martin Jansa c61dc077bb Convert to new override syntax 
This is the result of automated script (0.9.1) conversion:

oe-core/scripts/contrib/convert-overrides.py .

converting the metadata to use ":" as the override character instead of "_".
