for what changes are needed, and sed commands that can be used to make them en masse.
I've verified that bitbake -c patch world works with these, but did not run a world
build; the majority of recipes shouldn't need further fixups, but if there are
some that still fall out, they can be fixed in followups.

Reproducibility test reveal different timestamp values in docs/man
pages. The root cause is due to the makefile target rule which update
the timestamp not always beeing executed, depending on the order, the
target (dmmp_strerror.3) and prerequisite (libdmmp.h) are written on the
disk during the clone of the repo.
Update recipe to set the KBUILD_BUILD_TIMESTAMP to reproducible
timestamp (SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH).

Changelog:
===========
* Fix multipathd crash because of invalid path group index value, for example
if an invalid path device was removed from a map.
* Make sure maps are reloaded in the path checker loop after detecting an
inconsistent or wrong kernel state (e.g. missing or falsely mapped path
device). Wrongly mapped paths will be unmapped and released to the system.
* Fix the problem that 'group_by_tpg' might be disabled if one or more
paths were offline during initial configuration.
* Fix possible misdetection of changed pathgroups in a map.
* Fix the problem that if a map was scheduled to be reloaded already,
'max_sectors_kb' might not be set on a path device that
was being added to a multipath map. This problem was introduced in 0.9.9.

Makefile of multipath-tools uses $prefix as a destination prefix.
As soon as we added usrmerge feature, multipath default configuration
placed under /usr/etc/ resulting into problems locating them via a
hard-coded path inside the tools.
This change explicitly sets etc_prefix to ${sysconfdir} in order to
recover default behaviour.

optional patch-status (if you add it to WARN_QA).
This just added

The multipath-tools libdmmp/Makefile install target uses 'perl -i' instead
of 'sed -i' for string substitutions. The perl method creates a temporary file
and overwrites the original which changes the inodes and corrupts the pseudo
db. Changes to pseduo cause a build abort rather than allow possible bad
ownership or permissions settings on the files. 'sed -i' is compatible
with pseudo.

Updating to 0.6.4 introduced a build failure on ARM when thumb was
enabled because of the embedded valgrind.h macro calls. The easiest
solution and thus the one used here is to disable thumb for this
particular recipe for affected machines.
The more elaborate solution would be to patch the macro calls out of
the code when compiling for ARM with thumb.

No particular reason for updating besides following upstream.
Only kpartx has been tested after updating! Seems to work as before;
unfortunately that means that as in 0.5.0, "kpartx -d" doesn't do
anything.
Upstream refreshed the COPYING file, hence the checksum change:
$ git log --oneline 0.5.0..HEAD COPYING
bf05f63 multipath-tools: replace COPYING with a fresh copy from gnu.org
1d6c88a Update FSF address
The QA error that do-not-link-libmpathpersist-to-TMPDIR.patch fixes
no longer occurs because upstream changed that particular part of
the Makefile.
A new patch is needed to avoid building libcheckerrdb, which depends
on the (currently) unavailable librados.
The other patches had to be refreshed.
