This avoids copying/linking the same file/link multiple times if a copyfile/linkfile element with the same values has been specifed multiple times. This can happen when including a common manifest that uses an extend-project element that has a copyfile/linkfile element. This uses dicts rather than sets to store the copyfiles and linkfiles to make sure the order they are specified in the manifest is maintained. For Python 3.7+, maintaining the order that keys are added to dicts is guaranteed, and for Python 3.6 it happened to be true. The _CopyFile class and the _LinkFile class are changed to inherit from NamedTuple to be able to store them in dicts. Repo is a tool built on top of Git. Repo helps manage many Git repositories, does the uploads to revision control systems, and automates parts of the development workflow. Repo is not meant to replace Git, only to make it easier to work with Git. The repo command is an executable Python script that you can put anywhere in your path.

Install
Many distros include repo, so you might be able to install from there.
# Debian/Ubuntu.
$ sudo apt-get install repo
# Gentoo.
$ sudo emerge dev-vcs/repo
You can install it manually as well as it's a single script.
$ mkdir -p ~/.bin
$ PATH="${HOME}/.bin:${PATH}"
$ curl https://storage.googleapis.com/git-repo-downloads/repo > ~/.bin/repo
$ chmod a+rx ~/.bin/repo
