This commit introduces a new kernel patch that aligns the FF-A versions checks according to the FF-A specification v1.0. Without this fix, the FF-A bus fails to initialize when the FF-A framework is version 1.1 (comes with the latest TF-A). The bus driver which is v1.0 rejects the framework v1.1 despite the fact they are compatible according to the specification. This kernel patch changes the logic of the version checking based on the specification. E-mail meta-arm@lists.yoctoproject.org with patches created using this process. You can configure git-send-email to automatically use this address for the meta-arm repository with the following git command:

The component being changed in the shortlog should be prefixed with the layer name (without the meta- prefix), for example:
arm-bsp/trusted-firmware-a: decrease frobbing level
arm-toolchain/gcc: enable foobar v2
