Andrea Galbusera c937e44581 meta-python: README: drop outdated/confusing sentence
* declaration of independence from openembedded-core and meta-oe conflicts with
the current state of the layer, which does indeed depend on both of them for
building several recipes (as correctly stated a few lines below).
* anki was removed from meta-oe as well
* gateone lives in meta-python and is one of those recipes with dependencies in
meta-oe

Andrea Galbusera 73ac0e419a hiredis: fix paths in pkgconfig conf file
Set PREFIX via EXTRA_OEMAKE instead of exporting it in do_install_prepend():
than ensuring the correct prefix gets into hiredis.pc, which is generated by
upstream makefile at do_compile() time.

Andrea Galbusera e406d4f5ae android-tools: fix issue with missing files in eSDK updates
If this recipe was included in an eSDK and then eSDK incremental updates were
generated by repeatedly running the oe-publish-sdk script, after installing the
first of such updates, and any following as well, with 'devtool sdk-updates' the
eSDK gets corrupted. Indeed some of the files listed in SRC_URI (namely anything
in *.patch and *.service) get deleted by those updates, with bitbake that starts
warning with 'Unable to get checksum for android-tools* SRC_URI entry' at every
parse. Since the files are missing, such warnings turn into errors if trying to
bake android-tools.

The root cause is the somewhat unusual presence of android-tools/.gitignore,
indeed ignore everything not explicitly excepted. When oe-publish-sdk creates
the git repo it relies on to feed eSDK updates, the .gitignore gets honored,
leading to the buggy behaviour above.

This patch adds *.patch and *.service to the excepted patterns in .gitignore
Note that, although this solves the issue, it does not prevent from it popping
up again if new files get added to android-tools/ without explicitly excluding
them from .gitignore.

Andrea Galbusera eb0a49cc9c openvpn: remove duplicate attempt to create dir in ${localstatedir}
When systemd is in DISTRO_FEATURES we have two attempts to create
${localstatedir}/run/openvpn: one at build time with install command and
the other via systemd-tmpfiles at runtime which is enabled by installing
openvpn-volatile.conf. Beside looking redundant, by dropping the build-time
dir creation attempt solves the following error when building images with
both base-files and openvpn:

Error: Transaction check error:
  file /var/run conflicts between attempted installs of
  openvpn-2.3.9-r0.cortexa7hf_neon_vfpv4 and
  base-files-3.0.14-r89.raspberrypi3
