Marta Rybczynska dbd0761fd6 CI: update build for new CI ...

Update for Ubuntu 24.04 runners:
- use venv for installing kas
- add missing directories
- assume that python3 and pip are installed.

Other changes:
- add logging of jobs to files
- build parsec images where appropriate
