When using udev >=177 libertas driver does not load properly the firmware [1]. The patches 0001-0016 were taken from [2] and can be viewed at [3]. Patch 0017 I created to fix compiler complaining for missing symbol is_interrupt when DEBUG set. The patch series was tested with meta-gumstix on overo with udev-175 and udev-182. When not depending on meta-openembedded and not using systemd, you may need to
mask few miscellaneous recipes requiring systemd, by adding this to local.conf:
BBMASK = "meta-ti/recipes-misc"
The base BSP part of meta-ti should work with different OpenEmbedded/Yocto
distributions and layer stacks, such as:
distro-less (only with OE-Core), with Yocto/Poky, with Angstrom or Arago.
Please follow the recommended setup procedures of your OE distribution.
