When building lighttpd with PACKAGECONFIG_append_pn-lighttpd = "lua" in local.conf, bitbake gives the following error: ERROR: Nothing PROVIDES 'lua5.1' (but /home/tgamblin/build/oe-core/meta/recipes-extended/lighttpd/lighttpd_1.4.54.bb DEPENDS on or otherwise requires it) NOTE: Runtime target 'lighttpd' is unbuildable, removing... Missing or unbuildable dependency chain was: ['lighttpd', 'lua5.1'] Removing the "5.1" from the PACKAGECONFIG line in lighttpd_1.4.54.bb fixes the issue. QEMU Emulation Targets ====================== To simplify development, the build system supports building images to work with the QEMU emulator in system emulation mode. Several architectures are currently supported in 32 and 64 bit variants: * ARM (qemuarm + qemuarm64) * x86 (qemux86 + qemux86-64) * PowerPC (qemuppc only) * MIPS (qemumips + qemumips64) Use of the QEMU images is covered in the Yocto Project Reference Manual. The appropriate MACHINE variable value corresponding to the target is given in brackets.
