Not all QEMU machines are capable of having more than one serial port, this is due to the machine emulating a physical device/board. Rework QemuRunner to handle machines that only have 1 serial port, where the serial port shares output of the kernel log buffer and a login console. In this case the output is mixed but enables the machine to boot and have QemuRunner detect the login prompt. QemuTarget uses SERIAL_CONSOLES to determine the number of available serial ports. QEMU Emulation Targets ====================== To simplify development, the build system supports building images to work with the QEMU emulator in system emulation mode. Several architectures are currently supported in 32 and 64 bit variants: * ARM (qemuarm + qemuarm64) * x86 (qemux86 + qemux86-64) * PowerPC (qemuppc only) * MIPS (qemumips + qemumips64) Use of the QEMU images is covered in the Yocto Project Reference Manual. The appropriate MACHINE variable value corresponding to the target is given in brackets.
