This is necessary, as there has not yet been a release with the bb.utils versions in place. We can't show them a deprecation warning when they can't safely change it yet. Show a PendingDeprecationWarning until 1.10 releases and OE requires it, then we can move to DeprecationWarning. Poky ==== Poky platform builder is a combined cross build system and development environment. It features support for building X11/Matchbox/GTK based filesystem images for various embedded devices and boards. It also supports cross-architecture application development using QEMU emulation and a standalone toolchain and SDK with IDE integration.
